At Align Labs, we aim to maintain complete transparency and fairness in how our services are billed, paused, and cancelled. The following policy applies to all subscription plans, design services, development services, AI workflow automation, and MVP projects offered by Align Labs.
1. Subscription Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time directly through your billing portal or by contacting our support team at hello@alignlabs.co.
Once cancelled, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. No further charges will be applied unless you decide to reactivate your plan.
2. Pause Feature
We understand that your design or development workload may fluctuate.
To give you full flexibility, Align Labs allows you to pause your subscription at any time.
How pausing works:
Your billing cycle is based on 31 days.
If you pause after using 12 days, you will have 19 days remaining.
These unused days can be used anytime in the future—no expiry.
Your pause will take effect immediately once requested.
Pausing ensures you never lose value for unused time.
3. Refund Eligibility
Align Labs does not offer refunds for completed work or partially used subscription periods due to the intensive, high-quality nature of the service.
However, refunds may be considered only under these conditions:
3.1 First-Week Refund Window (Subscriptions Only)
If you are within your first 7 days of your initial subscription and:
you have not received significant deliverables,
AND you are unsatisfied with the service,
You may request a partial or full refund.
Refunds are handled case-by-case to ensure fairness.
3.2 Duplicate Charges or Billing Errors
If you were incorrectly billed or experienced a payment error, we will issue a full refund.
3.3 Unauthorized or Fraudulent Transactions
If a charge was made without authorization, we will investigate and refund if applicable.
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for any of the following:
Completed design, development, or automation work
Delivered revisions, iterations, or concepts
Partially used subscription periods beyond the first week
Delay caused by client inaction or unclear requirements
One-time project deposits (branding, web design, product design, MVP builds)
Custom integrations or AI workflows already initiated
Work already started, even if not completed, unless Align Labs is responsible for a major fault
These policies ensure fairness and protect the significant time and resources dedicated to your project.
5. One-Time Projects (Non-Subscription Services)
For fixed-scope services such as:
Branding
Website design or development
Product design (UI/UX)
AI workflow automation
MVP development
The following applies:
Project Deposits
All project-based engagements require a non-refundable deposit to secure your slot.
Milestone-Based Payments
Once a milestone is delivered, approved, or actively worked on, it becomes non-refundable.
Project Cancellations
If you choose to cancel midway:
You will be billed for work already completed.
Any remaining amount may be waived depending on project stage.
6. Failure to Provide Feedback or Approvals
If the client becomes unresponsive for 21 days or more, the project may be marked as inactive.
No refunds will be issued for inactivity caused by lack of communication or feedback.
7. Align Labs' Right to Cancel
Align Labs reserves the right to cancel a subscription or project under the following conditions:
Abusive or inappropriate communication
Requests outside our supported services
Ethical, legal, or operational concerns
Non-payment or repeated failed payment attempts
In such situations:
We will provide notice.
Refunds (if any) will be determined based on work completed.
8. How to Request Cancellation or a Refund

9. Brillo Product Policy (Separate)
Brillo is a standalone SaaS product owned by Align Labs.
Refunds, cancellations, billing, and subscription rules for Brillo will be handled under a separate policy specific to the product.
